Santini asked the children what was important to them, taught them how to use spray paint, and then added their words to this interactive mural.

 

COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP SCHOOL

Santini taught students from Kindergarten to 5th grade about art and positivity. Then, the children learned to use spray paint to create this 100-foot+ wide mural. Santini finished the design by adding words that were important to the students to make them feel seen and heard. 

 

Lower east side ecology center

Santini won a NYC-wide competition aimed at designing impactful, uplifting, and vibrant compost bins. Their creation was unveiled at Union Square and subsequently embarked on a citywide tour, igniting widespread consciousness about the significance of environmental preservation through composting.

East Harlem Wall of Love

East Harlem, NY (October 2020)

Santini's inclusive message of Love and Positivity found expression in a remarkable project, in partnering with Positive Exposure, a charity promoting a more inclusive world through photography, exhibitions, and educational programs. Santini painted the word "love" in over 100 languages on a four-story wall next to the Church of St Edward the Martyr in East Harlem. The design, resembling stained glass, symbolized a modern church of Love, promoting coexistence and respect for diverse languages and cultures.

During Covid, this restaurant got hit hard. Santini talked to the manager, who said many customers weren’t coming back and he feared losing his business, which started in 1972. Santini showed him some of his work and asked to create a mural of positivity with bright colors, geometric designs and love in many languages. Painting this wall was extremely rewarding. Not only was Santini able to brighten up the community, but he also met many awesome neighbors along the way. Best of all, he gets to walk out of his art studio every day and see this work of love, respect and unity across the street.

 

THE Bushwick Collective

Santini painted Strength Through Love as a symbol of unity, inspired by every voice in the fight for justice. The outline features words of positivity using morse code for us to feel the intensity held within. Words of positivity are written in English inside the fist, that holds a One Love logo, showing love in many languages that prove Santini’s belief of Unity in Diversity: we are all different, we are all the same and that is beautiful. Remember that there is more that unites us than divides us.

Nothing brings Santini more pleasure than seeing his friends prosper. Repeat client, Common Ground MTK at Rick’s Crabby Cowboy Cafe, hired him to once more liven up their space for the reopening of their landmark restaurant/bar and the launch of their new digs, Montauk Bungalows.

2020 has been quite the year and has done a number on all businesses worldwide so it is with much respect to witness the Common Ground crew working hard to make the space feel alive and beautiful despite the new challenges of the pandemic. 

Not only will you find this geometric mural with words of love and positivity at the bar, but you will also be able to spot his artwork in a few of the bungalows. A very special thanks to Chris and Rick for making this happen and supporting the arts. 

 

Bloomingdale’s MURAL OF APPRECIATION

On Earth Day, Santini's heartfelt tribute to the community took the form of a powerful Mural of Appreciation, dedicated to First Responders and Essential Workers. This design encapsulates his profound gratitude towards everyone who played a vital role during the pandemic. While recognizing the importance of each individual, Santini specifically acknowledges those courageous individuals on the front lines who risked their well-being daily.

The mural serves as a resounding reminder that we are all indispensable for the proper functioning of our world. Amidst these challenging times, Santini aims for this artwork to become a beacon of hope, illuminating the darkest moments. As the vibrant mural graces SOHO's boarded-up windows (the first in the area during this time), it ignites a collective realization that we are unified in this struggle. Together, we have the strength to triumph and forge a future superior to the one we have left behind.

 

The Palermo School

San Juan, Puerto Rico (December, 2019)

Santini was invited to paint an 80 foot mural at the bilingual Palermo School in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Santini taught the students about positivity, art history and spray paint, before collaborating on the mural with students in grades one through eight.

 

Clement Howell High School

Providenciales, Turks & Caicos (October, 2019)

Marco was invited to talk to the art class at Clement Howell High School about his process, style, and success. He motivated the students to find their voice while reminding them that there are no mistakes in art. Later, Santini painted a mural of positivity on the four doors of the school’s cafe in the main courtyard, where all of the students congregate each day. He hopes that this colorful design will inspire the students to follow their dreams. 

 

Beaches Resorts: SMOTS Conference

The Sandals Foundation invited Santini to Beaches Resorts to live paint at their Social Media on the Sand conference. Guests of the event submitted words of positivity, which Santini live painted during the Sunset Welcome event overlooking the crystal clear ocean. In addition, words of love were painted in multiple languages.

Santini was commissioned to paint his One Love logo, featuring the word love in 50+ languages, meant to signify that there is more that unites us than divides us. This design is on the school’s playground where all of the middle school students play each day. Santini also added words of positivity to the mural.

Santini was hired to create his One Love logo, featuring the word love in many different languages, outside of the modern ENT office in Englewood, NJ.

Santini painted the dance floor of Montauk’s newest bar, Common Ground. This design, entitled Dance Your Heart Out, features the word love in 100+ languages surrounded by words of positivity in a colorful geometric landscape.

Allendale, NJ (July 2019)

Fit Club NYC (home of 201 Magazine’s Top Ranked NJ Trainer Richie Sean) hired Santini to create a vibrant mural with an authentic NYC feel.

Brooklyn Beer Garden

Bushwick, NY (April 2019)

To kick off their 2019 opening, the Brooklyn Beer Garden invited Santini to paint their seating areas at the William Vale Hotel in Williamsburg and the headquarters in Bushwick.  Santini covered the walls, tables, and floors of the space with the word love in over 90 languages in his signature style, choosing neon colors to stand out against a black background. 

 

Boys and Girls Club of Queens

Astoria, New York (February, 2019)

After producing a mural to redesign the auditorium for the Boys and Girls Club of Queens, Santini was invited to guide a group of students in an art-making workshop. Santini worked beside the students, teaching them methods of graffiti, lettering, and mark making. He also encouraged the group to explore their own styles while incorporating positivity in their their work and their life.

 

Brooklyn Academy of Science and the Environment

Brooklyn, New York (February 2019)

In a long-term program to partner with New York City schools to enrich studentʼs education with art, Santini recently worked with the BASE School in Brooklyn to combine art and education through murals on the school’s walls. Inviting several artists to join him, Santini painted murals along the halls, using art to compliment the subject matter in the education program. Santini’s mural is in the language arts section, showcasing the word love in 100+ words in addition to over 200 words of positivity.

Prospect Heights, NY (October 2018)

Santini was asked to be one of 16 street artists to create a mural at the famous Underhill Wall area in Prospect Heights. The theme for the design with “classic album covers” and Santini created a geometric rendition of Queens iconic Hot Space, leading up to the launch of the Bohemian Rhapsody movie in November 2018. 

The Surf Lodge

Montauk, NY (June 2018)

The Surf Lodge commissioned Santini to create a 34-foot mural in the VIP area. The design features the word Love in over 20 languages. He also painted the walls and ceiling of a secret room that will catch customers by surprise.

Fragrance DAy MUral @ 610 Johnson Ave

Bushwick, NY (March 2018)

The Fragrance Foundation hired Santini to create a mural inspired by words of love and positivity to reflect the Bushwick community. This was launched in conjunction with the first ever Fragrance Day on March 21st.
